On Wednesday, February 7th, student-athletes across the nation signed their letter of intents to the schools of their choice for National Signing Day. National Signing Day includes all sports but primarily revolves around the likes of football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and softball. Frisco had seven of their own athletes participate as well.

For football, Dylan Horton signed with the University of New Mexico. “I’m really looking forward to attending the University of New Mexico,” said Horton. “I got to visit the campus a few months ago and it just felt right.” Dylan is a tremendous athlete playing both football and basketball all four years of high school. Previously committed to SMU, Dylan switched his commitment in the past month due to coaching changes at SMU.

For soccer, Kalee Williams and Olivia Klein signed their letters of intent. Kalee signed with Northwestern State University and Olivia signed with the University of North Texas. Both have very bright futures ahead of them in soccer.

For softball, Taylor Trosclair signed with Stephen F. Austin University. “Stephen F is someplace I have always wanted to go,” said Trosclair. “It is also in a beautiful part of Texas.” Taylor is the only senior softball player to sign this season.

For swimming, Jack Janasch and Abby Jenkins both signed their letters of intents as well. Abby signed with Vassar University and Jack signed with Louisiana State University.

Finally, for wrestling, Kierra Williams signed with Wayland Baptist University. She is the only wrestler to sign out of both boys and girls wrestling.

Frisco High is very proud of all of their athletes who signed today and is very excited to see our younger classmen progress athletically and academically over the next few years.
